Tracking Software Track-O-Mio ready to download (about 35MB incl. charts)
You can analyse RPC 2010 and 2011 with the replay function.
Some remarks
• Some tracking datas we are missing of 2010th Cannonball. 2011 is nearly complete. When a boat stops it means no datas anymore. If some datas are missing in between, the boats are sailing on a direct line with interpolated speed. That means no boat was sailing over islands or short cutted its way!
• To start the replay choose the regatta you want, press the play button and that´s it!
• At "Einstellungen" (Setup) you can choose if all the tracks "komplette Tracks anzeigen" should be shown
• The rest should be self explained - Have fun!!
Track-O-Mio will be the tracking software for the RPC 2012. We suggest to all skippers to download the program and test it on their boat-laptops. Of course we will have tracking on the internet too, but this program is optimized for very low data traffic once downloaded.

Die Siegerehrung ist vorbei, und damit ist auch die 4. Round Palagruža Cannonball offiziell zu Ende gegangen. Unter lautem Jubel wurden im Marina-Restaurant in Biograd allen Crews zu ihren Leistungen gratuliert – vor allem natürlich den Siegern des Rennens. Hier die aktuellen Bilder dazu! (more…)

Die RPC 2011 war nicht nur segeltechnisch ein tolles Erlebnis und ein voller Erfolg. Auch Markus Steiner von der „Living Ocean Society“ zieht eine gute Bilanz. Wie aufmerksame LeserInnen dieses Blogs bereits wissen, haben etliche Crews bei der Kampagne der „Living Ocean Society“ mitgemacht und ihren Müll während der Regatta getrennt. (more…)

Award ceremony today

Today at 2 p.m. the award ceremony will take place at the Marina restaurant in Biograd. There's only one yacht left to cross the finishing line now: The "Daiquiri" (42) with the ASS Segeln-Mercure team of skipper Horst Bernhardt is still on its way towards Biograd. Will they make it before the time limit of the regatta ends at noon..?
